WHATS NEW!!
Childcare is being Provided!!
A Step Away, special event childcare services, is providing FREE childcare, Friday & Saturday, during the sale (this DOES NOT included the PreSales on Thursday night). A Step Away specializes in special event childcare services such as private parties, corporate events and parent’s night out. They offer activities, games and snacks to keep children entertained and safe while their parents enjoy a much deserved break. Snacks will not be provided during the Wee World event, however, there will be interactive toys and supervised activities to entertain your little ones while you shop! Their childcare providers are at least 18 years of age, are certified in child/infant CPR and basic first aid, are trained in A Step Away guidelines and procedures, have previous experienced and have completed a clean criminal background check. Fee free to visit A Step Away to learn more about their services and how they can assist your family with childcare in your home or at your next special event!
Pump It Up Pricing Party!!
Monday, August 13th, we will have our first ever Pricing Party at Pump It Up located at 14036 Nacogdoches Rd. from 2pm - 6pm! If you’ve ever wished you had help with pricing & tagging your items, now you have your chance. Not only will you be able to get help pricing your items, you will also have access to wireless internet services so that you can either price & tag items from your own computer, or use ours. We will have printers to print your tags, plus all the supplies needed to print and attach your tags. Bring as many items as you like & take advantage of our pre check-in process, allowing you to check your items in at the party instead of at the Live Oak Civic Center. We will store & transport your items for you. We will also be on hand to assist you with any questions you have regarding the pricing and tagging process. And finally, your child can play for FREE at Pump It Up as the entire facility is being reserved for Wee World Consignors! All of these service are provided for a $10 fee (there is a $5 discounted rate for each additional child), if you register by June 30th. Agter that, it will be a $15 participation fee. We are not able to provide supervision, however, there will be Pump It Up staff on hand to monitor the children’s safety during play. We recommend that you use your parental discretion to determine what kind of supervision is required for your child. If you wold like to take advantage of this opportunity, rserve your spot now by filling out a Participation Form, as space is limited.
Faster Check-Out!!
To help expedite our check-out procedures we will be adding two more cash registers. increasing volunteers, changing the times of our pre-sales and accepting credit cards. We believe these changes, among others, will decrease shoppers’ wait time and increase their positive experience.
New Volunteer Opportuniies!!
As always, all volunteers are invited to attend one of our three pre-sales. However, this year we are offering volunteers who work a 2-4 hr. shift (depending on the shift) during Load Up or Set Up or, an invitation to the Double Duty PreSale which is typically reserved for volunteers working 8 hrs. total. In addition, we are again providing pizza and drinks for lunch for those working the Set Up Shift. So we hope you are able to take advantage of these opportunities. We are ALWAYS in need of “Hubby Helpers” so if the man in your life is available, we’d love to have him and then you can shop the Double Duty PreSale for him (unless he wants to shop it, of course! :-)
