Hi, I'm Alicia (that's me on the left) and I'm Kim (guess which one that makes me) and we're sisters. Believe it or not wee voluntarily decided to start a business together. Crazy, wee know, but what can wee say, wee have fun together! In August 2005, our first consignment sale was held in San Antonio, Texas. The idea originated in the Fall of 2004, when wee became involved in similar sales in the DFW area. As parents, wee recognize how frustrating and expensive it is when our children outgrow nearly new clothing or become bored with practically unused toys. So wee decided to open a family consignment sale business of our own to assist other families, stay at home with our children and become involved with some incredible charities, as well. Thanks to God and the support of our family and friends, wee have been truly blessed to be able to be preparing for our seventh sale. Since it’s inception, Wee World has expanded to include 175 families, over 20,000 items of merchandise and over 15,000 sq. ft. of shopping space during our Spring 2008!!! Wee are very excited about our growth and attribute it to everyone involved! So what is a consignment sale? We hold two sales a year, one in the Spring and another in late Summer. Our sales feature home children's clothing, toys & equipment, furnishings, electronics, high end home decor and more!! As an added bonus, you can also visit with local businesses for child-friendly services & products. And be sure to visit us on Saturday where you’ll save 50% on much of the merchandise!! You, as an individual or organization, register as a consignor. You price and prepare your gently used and new children's items or home decor and furnishings to consign with us. We provide all the instructions you need to do this. Then bring the items to us right before the sale and wee will put your merchandise in front of hundreds of buyers. Then you receive 70% of the profit. This is a much higher return than you would get from a garage sale or typical resale store, plus you’ll be invited to shop early as a consignor!! As a buyer, you can get some great deals on new and gently used merchandise.
